There's a big difference between an A/C install that just works and one that's done right. We take the second approach every time. This setup is a good example of what that actually looks like in practice.

Outside, we installed a brand-new York mini split outdoor unit alongside the existing central A/C condenser. The wiring is routed cleanly along the wall, the line set is wrapped and secured, and the condensate drain is piped out properly. Nothing haphazard. Every connection has a purpose and a place.

Up in the attic, the York air handler went in on a full secondary drain pan with proper support underneath it. A Honeywell Home media filter cabinet was added right at the unit - that's a detail that matters for air quality and system longevity. The refrigerant line and condensate lines are all routed cleanly, and the ductwork connections are tight. This is the stuff most homeowners never see, but it's exactly where a sloppy install causes problems down the road.

We do this kind of work because shortcuts in an A/C installation always show up eventually - whether that's a water leak from a bad drain setup, poor airflow from a rushed duct connection, or a system that runs harder than it should because the refrigerant charge was never dialed in right. Getting it done correctly the first time is what keeps your home comfortable and your energy bills in check.

Good work shows up where it matters most. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every A/C installation, replacement, and mini split service we do.
