Hot weather has a way of exposing every little problem your AC system has been hiding all winter. And the worst time to find out something is wrong is when it's 95 degrees and your system is running flat out. That's exactly why getting ahead of it now - before the real heat sets in - makes so much more sense than waiting.

When we do a seasonal AC tune-up, we're not just giving the system a once-over. We're getting into the details. Attic-installed systems like this Lennox unit take a little more effort to get to, but that's the job. We check the refrigerant lines, inspect the drain lines and condensate system, look at electrical connections, and make sure everything is running the way it should. Nothing gets skipped because it's hard to reach.

A system that hasn't been serviced can lose efficiency quietly over time. You won't always notice it at first - your home might still cool down, just not as fast, or your energy bill creeps up a little. Regular A/C inspections and tune-ups catch those small issues before they turn into a repair call in the middle of July.

The good news is there's still time to get on the schedule before the busy season locks things up. Once temperatures climb and calls start coming in, lead times stretch out. Getting your maintenance done now means you're not waiting in line when you actually need help fast.

Whether your system is a newer install or has some years on it, a tune-up is one of the most straightforward things you can do to protect your investment and keep your home comfortable all season long. It's simple preventive work - and it pays off every time the heat rolls in.
